1. Service Description
ClauseCheck is an AI-powered tool for analysing German rental contracts. ClauseCheck provides legal information, not legal advice. Use of this service does not replace consultation with a licensed lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) or tenant association (Mieterverein).
2. Disclaimer of Liability
ClauseCheck strives to provide accurate informational analysis but does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or legal validity. Users remain responsible for independent legal verification and decision-making. AI-generated analysis may contain inaccuracies, omissions, outdated legal interpretations, or context limitations. Rental law outcomes may depend on individual circumstances, regional court interpretations, and contract-specific details. Users should not rely exclusively on AI-generated analysis for important legal or financial decisions. ClauseCheck does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation of the platform.
3. No Legal Representation
Use of ClauseCheck does not create a lawyer-client relationship, legal representation relationship, or substitute for professional legal counsel.
4. Pricing and Payment
The free analysis shows a preview of the report. The full report costs a one-time fee of €7.99. Payment is processed by Stripe. No subscriptions are created.
5. Digital Service Delivery
By purchasing the full report, the user expressly agrees that performance of the digital service begins immediately after payment and acknowledges that the statutory right of withdrawal may expire once the report has been generated and delivered.
6. Refund Policy
As the report is generated and delivered immediately upon payment, refunds are generally not offered. For technical issues contact us at hello@clausecheck.de.
7. Acceptable Use
Users may not upload illegal content, malicious files, or attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the ClauseCheck platform.
8. Service Availability
ClauseCheck may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service temporarily for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
9. Usage Rights
Generated reports are for the personal use of the purchasing user only. Redistribution or commercial use is not permitted.

11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise. To the extent permitted by applicable law, jurisdiction shall be Munich, Germany.
